Growing Vegetables

After I planted the cantaloupe, peppers and tomatoes Sunday afternoon, I took a couple of quick photos of the raised vegetable beds.  We've started enjoying organic salads!  Everything is growing except for the spinach.  I'm now perplexed as to why they won't sprout.  Sigh.

  2. You are ahead of me. Your raised beds look great.

I have some lettuce in a pot that is growing well but should have planted lettuce seeds in the garden weeks ago. Every year I find myself behind and struggling to catch up.

  3. Dunno on the spinach!! I have some Swiss chard planted (which is like spinach)though it took longer to sprout than I thought it should, it finally came up. Much better luck than I had with my beets--I only have a handful out of 3 rows--Too bad, as I was really excited about pickling them. Maybe I'll replant them and see what happens--live and learn, right??
