Rain Gauge Report 2010 08 20

.10" of rain in the gauge.

Rain Barrel Status
1st rain barrel is full.
2nd rain barrel is empty.
3rd rain barrel is empty.

I've been using the water in the rain barrels.  This little shower topped off the 1st rain barrell but didn't give us enough to overflow to the other ones.

  1. Sadly, we didn't get any rain! But the rain we have had this week makes for a better looking garden!

  2. Good luck with the rain. Some of my ferns have been fried.

  3. Waiting for our "little shower". Hoepfully SOON!

  4. Rain is simply wonderful. Calling for lots this weekend.

  5. Lucky you! We have been nearly 2 months without rain, as usual, but are looking forward to Sept as the rains "may" begin.

Take all the rain you can get in August.

Sad about the ferns. Hoping for refreshing rain for all gardens.

I hope you get some rain too.

    Enjoy your rain.

I hope you get a surprise shower somehow.

  7. I don't think the ground has still dried out from how wet it was earlier this year. I've had to do little watering other than containers. I still would love to have rain barrels though. Have you had to use any water other than your barrels this summer?

  8. We are getting those afternoon thunderstorms here.
