Produce Waiting

Last Sunday, I harvested produce from the garden after being gone for a week.  I had picked everything I could the day before we left and given the produce to a friend.  After one week, this was waiting for me.  The super large zucchini near the bottom of the photo is way larger than I usually let them grow.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it.  Right now, it is taking up too much space in the refrigerator.

  1. It all looks wonderful and tasty~I've found the too big zukes are too mealy...But, maybe they would make a nice bread. gail

  2. It looks good to me too, and like Gail, I was thinking zuch bread with that huge one.

    Enjoy ~ FlowerLady

  3. I vote for Breaded zucchini, if you haven't already made the bread.

  4. This seems like a pretty nice harvest for one week. They look great!

  5. I've just posted a recipe for cake on my blog, but there's also vegetable curry and, of course, an opportunity for lots of jars of chutney!

  6. ~Gail
I prefer the small zukes too. I'll even eat them as veggie sticks with dip.

I don't bake break very often, but may have to find the bread pans for that one.

I did some breaded yellow squash for supper this evening. I have a couple othere zuke recipes that I may try.

It is amazing when one puts it all together like that isn't it?

Thanks for visiting GonSS. I did look at your recipe and it looks yummy. Oh, the possibilities. If only I had unlimited time to try everything!
