Each year, my peony plant gives me more flowers.
Just look at this beautiful display.

  2. And what a pretty color too! I love peonies, and can't wait until my plants produce blooms like these! Do you fertilize your plant, if so when is the best time to do that?

  4. What a beautiful flower. I am not able to grow them where we live the heat is not that good for them. But my option for that is the Mary rose by David Austin she is pretty close to a peony for me. Have a good day in the garden....Julian

Peonies are pretty hardy. I don't do anything too special for these. They are mulched which breaks down and feeds the soil. Otherwise, they get watered when I run the soaker hoses in this bed.

  12. I love this time of year when everything blossoms. Beautiful color! Okay....here's a question. Do you find yourself outside in the garden for hours and when you come inside, ask yourself "Did I get anything done?" That happened yesterday. 6 hours outside and while I know I got some things done, it doesn't look like I did anything!

  13. That clump looks to be quite an age considering it's size. It is certainly thriving.
