Oh, that is so cool. I'll see if any of my avian friends know what kind it is.
We've had a few "fledglings" around here, too. I've walked right up to within 3' of a couple of robins. And there were 2 black ones squawking up a storm a couple of days ago! Often there is a mother nearby running frantic distraction - but in neither of these cases was that so.
