Showy Pink Evening Primrose

In the corner of the back garden, you can just make out a birdbath given to me by my wonderful husband's late paternal grandmother.

A number of years ago, I planted showy pink evening primrose right behind the birdbath.  The primrose has spread.  I do have to pull some it out at times.

It weaves itself through the other plantings.  It is pretty.  It's worth having to pull some to get these sweet flowers.

  1. I really like how that looks around your bird bath. Nice choice.

  2. They are beautiful little flowers and I'm glad you're able to give them free reign. I spotted an area this afternoon that has done the same thing (give them reign). :-)

  3. I love Evening Primrose! I had it once and read it could be invasive, but it died :( instead. It seems to love your yard. If I remember right it has a nice scent too.
