Growing Gomphrena

I started them from seed shared from a friend.

Not having grown gomphrena before, I wasn't sure if these little plants were the flowers or something else that seeded itself in the containers.

Now, flowers are forming!!!

A friend gave me the dried heads whole. I broke them up over the container and planted everything from the dried flower because I didn't know what was and wasn't seed either. I figured something in there would sprout. It worked.

  7. I don't think I've ever heard of this plant... so it'll be fun to watch the progress! (You will post about it, won't you?) :-)

  8. I have never been the best at planting seed or rooting plants. I usually have to just pay the price to have them.
