What a nice surprise! Our mock orange shrubs are blooming again also. It's nice to step outside and be greeted with the sweet fragrance. Enjoy your weekend. M. Lane
Our local Extension folks said that the cooler temps and rain we've had after the plants had gone heat dormant over the summer has tricked some plants into thinking this is a second spring, so to speak. I've seen quite a bit of milkweed blooming again. Also a row of young Bradford pears in a median in Wichita.

ReplyDeleteEven a few lilac blossoms are wonderful. We've had iris blooming fairly consistently since Spring. I don't know why that's happening, either.
ReplyDeletecrazy things :-) My spirea bush was a little confused too!! Enjoy it while it lasts!
