I know this is nothing compared to what some parts of the US have gotten in snow already this year. I just wanted to document the first snow on the garden. It is melting as soon as it hits something. I'm just glad for the moisture.
Update: OK. Half an hour later and the snow is accumulating. Yea for the moisture!

Glad you are getting some much needed moisture.
ReplyDeleteAmazing isn't it? Is this early for you?
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely wonderful! We're getting misty rain, but nothing significant yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to get snow, too, but haven't yet although it is a drippy rain right now. It is not supposed to accumulate either but I hope to see it!
ReplyDeleteThis is EARLY for a snow!
Lucky you! I'm still waiting on some. Looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, that old white stuff. I love seeing it in pictures but ugh, not this soon. Glad it is giving you some water though.
ReplyDeleteThey are saying that we are going to get a 'big freeze' and apocalyptic snow soon. But then we were going to have a heatwave in the summer. The weather forecasters here in the UK just never get it right. I am praying for snow so that I can go sledging, but at the moment I am looking out of the lounge winter at....rain again!
ReplyDeleteI love that last shot of your garden, despite the snow. :)
ReplyDeleteThe first snow is always so special. I agree with Melanie that last photo is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOh, its so beautiful!! We had some, but it never stuck to the ground! Looks like more water heading our way Mon-Tues. .hoping for some acculumulating water!
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic change. Can't believe that it is snowing there already.
ReplyDeleteThat's what our first snow usually looks like. As you know, this year, we had more than that for the first snow. It came later than usual, too.
