I love paperwhites. I was late with my bulbs thisyear because we were gone -- they had started to sprout in the box! Hopefully, they will grow and bloom!
I adore paperwhites and like their aroma -- but not everyone does. To me in January and February they are such a harbinger of spring . . . but if you're winter is anything like ours, they are a lot of little bulbs seeing growth right now -- hopefully winter will continue as it has been!
Yes the aroma is a good thing or a bad thing. I liked their smell but others thought I had one bad smelling plant. I haven't had any for a couple of years.
