A year ago, I picked up a shamrock plant.
It did OK in our living room.
About a month ago, I moved it to a sunny window in our family room. It is much happier there.
It is even blooming.
I've also noticed the leaves have a nice purple variation.

Beautiful shamrock plant and bloom. Amazing how most inside plants love the sunshine--during the winter especially.

One of the prettiest plants I've seen. I love the leaves.
ReplyDeleteThose leaves are just so pretty....is it a type of oxalis plant?
ReplyDeleteSweet plant. I had one once. Now I have the purple flowering oxalis that blooms every spring growing outdoors.

That's a very pretty plant. Just don't have room for in my house so it's nice seeing something actually bloom in someone else's.

I have had one for years. .and in my north kitchen window. .it blooms year round!! If you were to dig in yours a little, you would notice that the foliage comes up from little tiny bulbs!! Which was a surprise to me the last time I repotted it!!
ReplyDeleteI love these plants, a relative has a red/purple leafed one that is stunningly large - I bought one because of hers and well mine isn't stunning.
ReplyDeleteYour is looking fantastic.
