Triple Moons

The moon flower has blooms on a regular basis now.

The large trumpet flowers just glow as the sun goes down.

I also discovered three white leaves in the caladium container.

I just find it so interesting how the veins stay green.

  1. I've been wanting to try Caladiums for years. Oooo. I say that a lot. Could be there are SO MANY pretty things to grow. It's a problem I guess we'll have to deal with-haha!
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Love caldiums. Is that a moon flower vine or a datura bush? aka as Devils trumpet opposite of Brugmansia angels trumpet?

  5. We had the moon flowers once and just loved to watch them unfold each evening and I think I remember that they were fragrant, too. The white caladium probably glows in the evening too. Beautiful photos. Enjoy the weekend, friend.

    1. Yes. Moonflower is a night bloomer. Sometimes the blooms stay open if it is cloudy but the direct sun makes them close and they only make it a day maybe too if it's cloudy. But new flowers form all season.

  13. The blooms are lovely and the Caladiums are such beautiful foliage plants. Unfortunately I don't have shade for them so I always admire others.

  14. Moonflowers are fun, aren't they? I only let one grow this year, and it is in my vegetable garden. I've tried growing some in other parts of the yard, but keep putting other things in, and then I have trouble finding room for them.
