Inside For Winter

A frost is possible this weekend.  I'm glad I have all my houseplants and what I'm hoping to propagate for next year inside already.  They are tucked in to the plant stand in the family room.  The list of plants is one post back.

  2. I see signs of the weather changing. A welcome change if I do say so myself. I remember this process for you from last fall. How much fun!

  4. We always bring ours in Columbus Day which is Monday but we'll be gone so we'll be bringing mine in on Friday or Saturday -- I say "we" because they're in too big of pots for me to bring in! And I'm not sure where I'm going to put the orange tree -- even with our terrible heat and drought all of the citrus did well this year AND the orange tree is way bigger coming in than when it went out! I may have to see if I can get someone to foster something!

  5. You have brought in a lot for the winter to try to keep. I was just thinking of that very thing this morning as I walked around outdoors. I do not think I am bringing in a many as previous years. Just some lantana and some geraniums I think. Have a great week!

  6. Yes, I have to again bring everything back inside. We didn't get the freeze but I didn't want to take a chance. I left some things in but large planters needed to be back outside.

  7. I hope your plants successfully over-winter in the family room. I think we have a couple more weeks before a frost is expected, but I have to make room for our container roses in the garage.
