  1. Oh my, that is a lot of wind. We often see that kind around here in July, Aug, & Sept. Stay safe. Thanks for sharing.

    1. There are no clouds today. It is 'sunny.' Does it look 'sunny?' The dust is filtering the sun.

  6. They showed the dust storm on TV too. All I could think of was I hope our Midwest is not turning into a desert like in Iraq! They had lots of dust storms there. Very awful. Day can quickly turn into night. Dust can be quite a mess to everything.

  7. I can't stand the wind. We have a lot of wind here coming off of Lake Ontario - no sand/dust - just snow, and I hope the snow stays away for a couple more months.

  8. Oh, boy. .we didn't escape from that wind either. .I was out for a bit today, which was beautiful. .but noticed that one of my big wooden benches blew over. .And only in Kansas, can your weekly weather forecast have highs of 88 and 43 in the SAME WEEK!! Unfortunately, the 43 is the same day as our Halloween bash. .so we are hoping for a little warmer day! Enjoy your nice, nice weekend!
