What a wild mix of weather! We are in the 80's this afternoon.
I was uploading pictures of our weird weather when I saw yours. We are set for bad storms in the next 24 hours. Then a cold front behind the storms, but not as cold as you are getting! That is still a stunning picture you took, but I bet you are tired of the snow.
We're supposed to have storms tonight but alas, no snow and no cold!!!! We're still reeling from Sunday's storm!
We've gone from winter to spring to summer all in a 2 week period. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 90, which is super weird. I know you're tired of the snow, but just think of it as much needed water. :o)
I think your weather's been even wilder than ours! We started the day around 68, got up to 76 in the early afternoon and then suddenly plunged 20 degrees. Now it's just above freezing and the rain (which will presumably soon turn to ice and/or snow) is just beginning. The wind came up suddenly with the drop in temperatures this afternoon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the plants can handle it all, because there's no way to protect them with the blasts of cold air currently shaking the house.
That's really weird weather. I wonder if the world will see normal seasons ever again?
We were suppose to rain all this week but so far none. I always hope it will happen as it would sure give a boost to the plants with our weather finally being decent.Cher Sunray Gardens
Wow, what a mix of weather you've had all rolled into one day.FlowerLady
Very strange weather! I hope soon you have nice, sunny, gardening weather. We are expecting severe storms tomorrow. That always scares me, but having planted all those plants, we could use the rain.
Despite the sprinkling of snow your garden looks great! I'm envious of your plant growth. It's still winter in my garden.
I'm so tired of the up and down of this spring weather. It was close to freezing last night (again tonight, too), and supposed to be in the 90's by this weekend!!! Whatever happened to mild, warm, nice spring days?!
I hear a system was moving through your area. Protect the tops of those frost sensitive buds!:)
Yikes! That storm was a freak for sure!
