Snow Again?

The cold frames are closed tight.
The rain gauge is back in the garage.
The rain barrels are tipped back over.
The fountain is out of the water garden container and back inside.
The hoses are disconnected from the faucets and drained again.

Happy May Day!

May day, may day.  Enough with winter already.

There's a lot of winter in this first of May forecast.

  7. Yikes. Not surprisingly, you guys are forecast to get colder than we are. We've also gotten plenty of cold rain but no snow. We're supposed to be down to 30 tonight (Thursday night/Friday morning), but theoretically, that's as low as we'll go. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we don't even get THAT cold.

I'm trying to send warm thoughts your way!

  8. Oh my where is spring? This is the winter that won't go away. I will have my heat back on by the weekend but my plants will be fine. I hope you soon get some warm spring weather soon with lots of sun.
