One In The Lead

I was excited earlier this spring to see the purple poppy seeds I planted sprouting.

The plants have been growing with one plant much taller than the others.

Today, I noticed the tall plant had bloomed!




Can't wait for more of these.

  2. I was just noticing seedlings yesterday that had sprung up in some very odd places. Must be the birds doing that. They are indeed pretty , but you might want to pluck most of the seed heads before they distribute. Just a gentle reminder......

  4. Just beautiful. I know what it's like...waiting for a special flower to bloom for the first time. Nothing like it in the gardening world.
