We're supposed to get down to 20° tomorrow night, so that will be then end of our container plants as well. Yours look very good for mid-November.
We had snow start during the night. Leaf drop is really going fast now.Cher Sunray Gardens
Brrr! the teens! We are still having warm, humid temps and the a.c. is on. Cooler temps are predicted in the next week or so.Will you be bringing your containers inside?Enjoy your week ~ FlowerLady
Yes, it definitely is the end of the end of any thing alive. The official growing season is over for me but then that happened a couple weeks ago. Now everything has succumbed to the freezing temperatures. It's time to move inside and start working on Winter projects. Mine will be to clean up the basement and make it a place where Bradley, my grandson, can bring friends over and conquer the world on Xbox or build empires with legos. :0)Have a great Nebraska Fall day.
Oops, have a great Kansas Fall day.
Our temps are supposed to go down into the low 20's tonight…. George brought in the remaining Iris blooms and 8 more Rose blooms. Guess Winter is upon all of us!!!!! Hugs,Betsy
Brrr, indeed! It's supposed to freeze here tonight - our first for the year. But nothing like temperatures in the teens! Bundle up and stay warm!
It was a good long season. I'm sure you're sorry to see them go, but time for the "relaxing" portion of the year!
even my covered begonias succumbed last night - right through the blankets!
Wow, that is really cold! Here in Southern California we are having totally wired weather. It is so unusual warm even for our area: forecast for the highest temperatures today is 82 F and lowest 53 F. I just bought white geraniums to replant my containers...Christina
I wondered when it would start getting cold in your area. Although it has to be a nice respite from watering plants and all that other fun stuff:)
