Lots of green in the pictures now! My, how fast things change. Have a wonderful weekend
It's all looking very neat and tidy, and ready for the summer. I do love your forest, what do your neighbours think of it?
The neighbors seem to like it just fine. We get a lot of compliments on it. The neighbor on the other side of the forest has three grandsons who run around it playing tag. Sometimes I find odd things they've found while roaming the alley left in the forest. There is a section by the garage that is easy to get in to the forest because it's not as thick there.
It is so neat to see your gardens waking up and starting to put out blooms.Happy Gardening ~ FlowerLady
Does spring feel slow in arriving to you (or is it just me)? I always enjoy your tours and look forward to June on Sherlock Street. Find pleasure in the development of your sweet property in the coming days.
GonSS, Spring is always such a green time of the year. All that Winter moisture sort of kick starts all the plants. It has to be tough to keep things green when water restrictions are imminent. Everything here is bursting with green. Gardens are easy to grow in the Spring time. During the summer months even here where water restrictions never happen, it's a challenge to keep things looking good in the heat. By September only the hardiest of yard people have kept there lawns and flower beds lush. You may have water challenges but your yard areas not only survive but give you a great display of thanks for your care and nurturing. It's always a treat to see how well your gardens look.Have a great outside day in the garden.
Looks like things are all tidied up and ready to go. I love this feature of your blog...what a difference during the seasons.
It's good to see the green returning to your garden.
I cannot believe how big your forest is getting. :) So many plants are growing fast now. In about another week I can put some annuals and veggies out. Isn't this a fun time of the year. Have a great weekend.
We want to eliminate all the grass in our back yard and have nothing but flowers and veggies. I always love stopping in here and seeing what's going on in your garden. Beautiful.
I really enjoy your tours.
