The recent rain has really greened up the garden.  We got over 3 inches of rain Monday.  No storms.  Just rain with a little wind.
Happy, happy!

This afternoon was beautiful.  I pruned and harvested and swept and photographed for two hours.  I also mowed in the front garden, but I don't really like to mow.

Had to get a photo while everything was green from all the rain.  We have more storms forecast for Wednesday night.  We'll see what we get.

  1. Thanks for sharing the pic. I know you are thrilled with the rainfall. We have had a good amount of rain; we've only had to water the new sod once.

  2. I'm SO happy for you and your garden! What a difference a rain makes..

  3. I am so glad you got your much needed rain. Everything is looking good there.

We've had LOTS of PREDICTED rain and not gotten much of anything.

Enjoy the rest of your week ~ FlowerLady

  4. We're getting plenty of rain, too. Nice to see everything so green!

  5. So glad you got rain!
I despise mowing and am always glad when the rains quit in June---I mow only 3 or 4 times and then the rains stop and the grass dies. Works for me-LOL!
Enjoy your green! It all looks lovely.........

  6. Your garden looks beautiful. I'm glad it was able to get a good drink and I hope it doesn't have to wait too long for more rain.

  7. Hasn't this rain been wonderful?! Having been gone for 2 weeks, I'm WAY behind on weeding now, but it's been so pleasant outside and the ground is so nice and soft that I've enjoyed every minute outside - not something I can always say about June in Kansas!

  8. It is great to get rain. We are suppose to storm tonight and in early morning Sunday too.

  9. We have gotten some great rains too!! The gardens look happy. .yours AND mine!! Hopin to post some photos soon. .but the wind was already blowing by 6:00 when I went out to walk this morning!! Sounds like a windy week here! Missed you!!
