Making Progress

It took longer than I thought it would to clear the winter squash and pumpkin plants.  There were a lot of vines.  I did manage to get new soil on the second raised vegetable bed and I planted the garlic.
Still have the rain barrels to store for winter and a few other things outside that need to hibernate for winter in the garage.

  2. It all looks so tidy. I'm always torn at this time of year----nice to see things cleaned up, but missing all the goodies from the garden. Ah well, NEXT YEAR!! And planning is half the fun as well!

  3. SS, Most of my garden beds are ready for the winter rest. I just have to clean up the big water tank and put all the hoses away for the winter. I'm finally down to just cleaning up the yard from the leaf fall and mow for the last time. I am ready for the winter rest. Let snow. Let it snow. Let it snow. :-)

Have a great fall cleanup day.
