Teepee Trellises Stored

Monday afternoon, I managed to free the teepee trellises from the jungle and tie them to the fence in the background of this photo for the winter.  I also scavenged a few gourds from the vines to sit out by the front door.  Well see if we can find the pile of limestone this week.

  2. GonSS, yes, it's time to put the garden into hibernation. I've been working on that for some time and will continue today with more cleanup. I ordered my first seed catalog and it should be here soon. I always order the Baker Creek heirloom catalog. They have a free seed catalog but I order the five dollar one which is twice as big with stories, recipes, and other extra things. It's a pretty awesome seed catalog for the cost of a gardening magazine. It's one of the catalogs that gets me through the winter planning months.

Have a great garden cleanup day.

  3. Looks like you are getting ready for winter. I have been putting away things also although I do not like to see the season ending.
