Functional Metal

I recently acquired a few metal items for the garden from my aunt and uncle.

This is a boot scraper my uncle made with an old disc blade as the base and just some scrape metal giving it the scraper edge with a little design going on.  While I don't know how much use it will get since we're not on a farm, I like it as art.

No idea what this was for in a previous life.  I thought it would be handy to sit over plants to keep rabbits from nibbling on them.

This tub looks really good still.  It already has some drainage holes in the bottom though so it is best as a planter now.

First Seeds In The Ground

We've been having very warm weather for about a week.  We are suppose to cool down again tonight with the promise of rain later this week.

The soil is ready in my raised vegetable beds for a few seeds.
I put out my new plant markers too.

Next week, I'll add a few more.
