First Seeds In The Ground

We've been having very warm weather for about a week.  We are suppose to cool down again tonight with the promise of rain later this week.

The soil is ready in my raised vegetable beds for a few seeds.
I put out my new plant markers too.

Next week, I'll add a few more.

  2. Yay! Love this time of year.
I will be setting up my coldframes tomorrow to get the rest of the snow to melt and to thaw the ground. Hopefully in 2 weeks I can sow a few rows.

  4. Hooray for planting seeds! I was able to plant lettuce in our raised beds yesterday, even though the gardens are still to wet to till. Yet another advantage of raised beds.

  5. Hi GOSS! I'm glad to be back into planting time! I have lettuce, peas, spinach, carrots, kale, potatoes, onions, and radishes in so far. They say we have a 60% chance of rain tonight. I hope it comes, as we really need it.

    I love your plant markers!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I was pleased to see the Virginia bluebells poking up yesterday. Hopefully all of our perennials will be fine.
