I have been really behind in sharing new things for the garden.  My in-laws gave this antique sundial to us for our wedding anniversary in May.  We have not created a pedestal for it yet so we've just been enjoying it right outside our patio door.  Love the saying (perfect for an anniversary gift) and the night hawk.

Record Breaking Autumn Temps

We are having the warmest autumn.
While there was a little frost around our area a few weeks back, it didn't affect Garden on Sherlock Street.
We're breaking records for high temperatures.  For instance, on Halloween, we reached 92 degrees Fahrenheit.  Yikes!  It was very nice for the trick-or-treaters that night.
I've cleaned up a lot of the vegetable garden, but still have tomatoes and peppers.

Tour photos coming soon!

Flowers I Didn't Plant

As I began gathering the flower containers on the back patio earlier this month so they can be a little protected from frost, I spotted some rose moss growing in the the limestone walkway in the front garden.  Now, it is blooming!  I put a couple of aloe vera containers by it to keep it from being walked on.  A late bloomer, but a welcome one.

Containers at GonSS

I realized recently that I hadn't really posted any photos of this year's containers.  The flowers are really filled out.  So, in no particular order (and not a complete showing), here are containers at Garden on Sherlock Street.
