The rain has made things grow like crazy. We are so green it is unbelievable.
This includes our tiny lawn, except for one thing...we have a patch of wild snapdragons in the lawn that I just cannot mow down until they've had their initial bloom. Here they are like a patch of sunshine.
The irises and dame's rockets are really making the alley look good this spring.
A sidewalk runs from our trash bin storage area to the patio. The vegetable garden is on the left with bachelor buttons and larkspur on the right. The rains have made all the plants so tall this spring.
My father gave me some seeds from his walking onions late last summer. They are doing very well. I now know that I should have planted them where they would have more space. Oh well. I'll move them to a better spot later this year. This link has a lot of info on walking onions.
The alliums are blooming. These are just too fun. I started with three large bulbs. I like the spheres so much that I often let them be until they are dry. As a result, they often make seed and I have more than three now. The bulbs divide some, but I have alliums coming up in places that I never put bulbs.
