I'm going backwards in time, but I love seeing how your garden changes from month to month. What really intrigued me between July and June was that I didn't notice the milkweed in your July tour, when it theoretically stood out more, but saw it immediately in this June tour, highlighted by the larkspur. Have you had any monarchs visiting this year? It's so nice to see your rich stands of larkspur. I really miss my spring/early summer riot of blue. To be honest, I haven't tried it down here, but I don't see anyone else growing it so I'm guessing that it doesn't "do" in the heat and humidity along the Gulf Coast.
I still have not witnessed any monarch caterpillars on the milkweed. Larkspur is such a thing in my garden. I almost count on it too much. This year, I hardly had any in the front garden. Don't know what was different.
