GoSS, Yes, the winter face is on the gardens here as well. Seven inches of snow arrived about a week ago and then a drizzly day of rain followed a few days later to melt almost all the snow.
I did get some toboggan runs in down the hill by the school. I'm hoping to get more in before the winter's end. I only got in four runs before the old legs screamed for mercy and begged me not to climb that hill again.
I hope and pray that you are staying well. I'm good here and trying to stay at home as much as I can but family and friends still need help even in a pandemic.
Fun stuff with a toboggan. We have a creek nearby which the city sloped the sides more to better handle heavy rains and it is a favorite spot for sledding if we get enough snow. Not a huge hill to climb back up. Gotta go out of town to find the real hills around here. Quiet in the garden except for a bit of trimming and pruning on warm days. Ready to start planning and dreaming the next growing season. Be well!!
